I went and treated myself to the MC6000.What a difference in sound and clarity compared to what I had before! I keep asking myself "what took me so long? Incredible gear to work with.Still learning and getting used to it..but its hard to shutdown and walk away from! oh well
just thought I brag a little..:) forcing myself to go and get something to eat...
P.S. The head room I gained was a huge plus!
keep em spinning

That makes me happy to hear as I still haven't taken the leap to the 6000 yet even though I really want to! Just out of curiosity and comparative reasons... what were you using before?

I was using the DJIO soundcard with the total control/Behringer mixer as my main setup, and then I purchased the Mixdeck that I use for home
to practice with. But the Mixdeck..all though is not a to bad of a unit..it did have its issues that I learned to live with.A noisy mixer it was..
Constant hiss I couldnt get rid of.The Denon ..same set up..with powered JBL Eons 15" 3 ft from me..and not a bit of noise! That alone was
a plus! and the cross fader on the mixdeck would make a pop sound when used.
I removed the Behringer and installed the MC6000 into my 19 case..it even included ears for mounting.I believe it was worth it! Im sure I will have a problem or two with this one..being Im still learning it and all of the features it has to offer.Buttons are a bit croweded but I will adjust.

The buttons are really croweded, makes it hard to get the old DJ flow going.
But I suppose for those all out club guys it's great, they should do a 19" but 8 or 10U as an alternative.

The MC6000 is perfect for me, right size and the button layout is great. I suppose something NS7 sized would be better for some people but it's just too big and heavy for moving about.
The MC6000 is so good on every level, it's just the VDJ mapping is complex for newbies and there should be seperate maps for int/ext mix and 2/4 deck modes.
