I've just discovered these http://www.chauvetlighting.com/intimidator-scan-led-300.html and they look like the answer to my prayers. I wanted a high quality effect with gobos and lots of movement and brightness (I really wanted a pair of martin wizards but I decided it's not worth the space taken up in the back of the car or the backache since they're over 15kg each.)
Most scanners look a bit naff because they don't have rotating gobos, and I'm only looking at getting a pair so I need maximum impact from just 2 fixtures. And I want to be able to put them both in an arriba bag and carry them in one hand.
Just wanted to know if anybody's seen these in the flesh or used them? A few youtube videos make them look pretty good.
Also, I'm not actually going to buy those, I'm actually these http://www.thomann.de/gb/stairville_sc_x50_led_scanner.htm because I read somewhere that they are just the same but re-badged. So if anyone can confirm or deny that as well it'd be really handy.

Scanners need to be flightcased
Also, seem expensive for aftermarker Chinees product.
I noticed their putting their prices up now that they got a stronghold, lot of companies coming home ;)
