i am trying to upload new firmware on my denon mc 6000 on my denon mc 6000. i have followed the steps as directed. when i get to the screen to select file to update i choose the one directed to choose then i hit start. then at the bottom i get
send sysex message data to control .................
send sysex message count : 5
wait.................
and then nothing ......
please help. i have tried it twice and its been almost a half hour.

i dont think the firmware updater is reading my denon mc 6000. because for shits and giggle i dissconnected during the message stated earlier and it didnt read that i dissconnected it.

What did you figure out b/c I'm having the same issue. I think it's b/c the new MacLions do not come w/ java....
