I was thinking of upgrading to a new HD and was wondering if I should get E-Sata? I currently have a 2tb HD USB 2.0 with Mp3, Mp4, Mpeg 2 & Karaoke files on it. Does anyone know if I will notice a big difference using E-Sata?

I'd always pick E-SATA over USB2 as it's far quicker.

i was thinking 2 months back to upgrade my usb hdd to an e-sata but i thought that not all computers have e-sata plug. (e-sata is much more faster than usb)

Hi mate.
If your laptop has E SATA then it is mutch faster interface. Be aware that this connection can be more sensitive to electrical noise so keep the date cable short and use a good quality cable.
Using E SATA also frees up your USB interface so controllers and sound cards will work with less latency problems.
