Ok so I am going to purchase a pair of these EV ELX118 Live X Passive 18's and need a good amp to run them. I am going passive simply for dollars saved. I can get a pair of passive and save 600 bucks over the active pair. I am looking at the Behringer EP4000 and EP2000, also the QSC GX5, and Crown XLS1500. What is your opinions on these amps and is there others that you would suggest?

Hi mate
Try to stay away from the EP series. They are not very well built and can ba unrelyable. Crown and QSC would be the way to go.
take a look at he new Crown Drivecore range.
