I been using VDJ for about forever now years and years, along with that I been using Numark's ICDX which seemed to be a gift from God lol. The only problem is I find with the new version of VDJ we have lost a couple of features and it's not as stable. What I mean is if I'm doin something to fast it'll skip or won't start at the beginning of my track and all that good fun stuff lol. Another thing we lost is the Skip beat if I'm not mistaking that's the correct name of. I really liked this feature if I brought my mix in to late or early I could finiggle it to come in correctly.
The point being my ICDX is on the verge of I guess renewal you could say and all the new controllers I know arent compatible with the VDJ 5.? version which I can't seem to veer away from. I like serato, but it's alot of work in my business. Along with DJ'in I also own a night where I DJ at and in between Djin and taking care of my business Serato makes me have to babysit at all times and well you know lol. But does anyone have any suggestions on where to go from here? I need to start looking at different ideas and kinda don't know where to start off....

I can't think of any features that have been lost.
Skip beat is still there. Have a look at commands like seek, goto and goto_bar for example.
