Hi all
I looked at touch screens a while back but didn't realy get very far so I decided to re-visit the idea. I came across this unit on Amazon

Wondered if anyone has any thoughts on it. I like the idea of keeping my DMC2 for main transport control and using the touch screen for browsing/loading/sampler and effects control.

I have a laptop with 2 touchscreens, and although I have the Denon MC6000 I have been trying working VDJ exclusively by touch.
DJDad's virtual touch skin is superb (as pictures below), allowing a swap between browser and control screens. I managed both my gigs last week using the screen only and I'm suitably impressed. No support for Multitouch in VDJ though!
There are a few good touchscreen monitors and skins out there, definitely worth a shot Daz. I have also been using touch on the ipad using the standard 1024x768 skin and although not a touch specific skin it works well enough. DJJB has a touchscreen skin below that works well on the ipad too.
Another thing to note for that particular monitor is that I don't think there are any touch skins that have as high a resolution as 1920x1080

Many thanks for the info Kieth.
I was thinking the multitouch support might be an issue but perhaps it is a dvelopment that can come later. The skins look great. I can operate the browser from the DMC2 but a touch screen looks so mutch more practical than that or a mouse.
Will let you know how I get on with it.

Well I now have the IIyama 22" touchscreen and its working a treat with DJ dads skin. I had to download an XP driver from the IIyama web site but this was painless and worked with no probs from the first install.
Has anyone come across a good popup touchscreen keyboard? I have found one that I am trying out but I have to minimise VDJ to use it.
