So I was at work and had an itch to play with VDJ, I put my headphones on, got my mouse ready and started clicking away. I decided to record it and post it up... I know I rushed the mix because it was the end of the day and I had to leave work. I usually use my Hercules RMX, but you let me know what you think. I did have a few errors in there but I tried to fix it up.

I did a hip-hop mix yesterday as well ( http://i.mixcloud.com/C6DRj ), single take no editing, four decks. Using instrumentals and accapella's, in other words, using 50cents music with 2pacs raps etc. But the whole thing is in Em or Am causing it to sound like it belongs together. Its really worth the effort to look into that.
Another thing, mind your gains, track two is a drop down in volume.

And for you JB, gotta watch those lyrics. Sounds messy when you start stacking em. That's not really a mashup either. You just stacked an accapella on a beat. A mashup is more when you use the lyrics from 2 or more songs to make one. I'd just call yours a remix per say.
