I do a set on a Monday night in a local club. Just wondered if anyone had heard of or used the "KL2" system?? Its kinda like virtual DJ in that it allows a lot of video mixing etc but its integrated within the club using touch screens and a large "Cloud" professional mixer. Im just going on what the names are on the equipment.
Also, Iv never done a more mixed set like the one I did tonight!! Nearly every genre I can think of was either requested or got people up dancing; alternative, rock, rnb, dance, old skool, pop, new, dubstep, house... the lot!! Anyone else get this kind of reaction on sets? Usually this sort of thing is saved for mobiles, not club sets!? :-)

ooh blimmey not the KL2
i was one a first dj's that got to use the very first KL2 systems around 10 years ago cashed more that 15 times on my first night of using it, good job i took my cd's and dvd's as a back up.

Ahh yes! Glad theres someone else out there.
I work in a Chicago rock cafe but in my town its a nightclub. Its not been as bad to me so far but I do bring a healthy number of cds to my set! I do enjoy the system because its quite versatile if you want to add other gear, or in my case, if the night allows you. On a commercial point of view its good with the text messaging system, messages and powerpoints you can put up.
Anyone else used this too? Or also works in a CRC?

yep i'm an ex crc dj
worked for them for 4 years in the northwest and northeast
i got out 8 years ago when they started to mess around with the music policy and when eminence took over paying the dj's what a f***** that was
