I am wondering if there is a way to lock the volume of the samples, to the mains volume. Ie, i want the sample to play at the exact same volume as the mains. I am using a Hercules RMX, and at times the samples totally overpower the music output. Thanks in advance :)

What I do is adjust the main volume down a bit. Then you can hear the samples. Another thing you could do, is use a 4 deck skin and load the samples on deck 3 or 4 and you'll have more control. That way you can also use effects on your samples.

if you use the samples in the 4 deck skin you can activate the "auto gain" option in ght config and vdj will do it for you so your volume will always be leveled.
