I am moving my music over from a backup because of a hard drive problem. I have access to all of the previous files from the VDJ install.
My questions are:
1. When I move my tracks to the new hard drive and since the tracks were all scanned for BPM and levels, will that data carry over as well or do they need rescanned?
2. Is there any way to get the track data, such as length, comments, etc into view without rescanning each track.
Any help would be appreciated. Just trying to avoid rescanning my entire library.
Thanks!
Scott

File infos are saved in your database(s).
You don't have to re-analyze if you still have access to your database(s)
Virtualdj creates a "master" database in :
USER\Documents\VirtualDJ\VirtualDJ Database v6.xml
and local databases in the root of every partition or external drive you use for your music :
'VirtualDJ Local Database v6.xml'
Keep a backup of them just in case, and be sure these files are in place after your music transfer.

Make sure that you put your music in EXACTLY the same location with the same folder structure as before, otherwise it will not match the paths stored in the VirtualDJ database (E.g: If it was in C:\Music, it needs to go into C:\Music again.)
