I thought someone might find this helpful as it took me MUCH trial and error to find some decent, true sounding, loud home practice speakers........I've been using the Audioengine A5 Powered Bookshelf speakers along with a Powered Polk Audio 10" Sub daisy-chained to the A5's, and lemme tell you it's a Sick setup....Say what you will, they are both (the speakers and sub) 50w power, but quality, hard to match...and in a 30X30 roughly sized room, incredible-... WITH A GOOD AUDIO INTERFACE, I use the DJ/IO and even with a relatively cheap soundcard this setup will blow you out of the room........Hope this can help someone out there looking for a good practice setup.....happy spinnin! =D
