make sure you have the music files in exactly the same directory on both computers, you can either edit your filepath in windows or if you cant because of stupid windows 7, you can open a (copy of the copy) of the database in notepad and use find and rename to change the filepath for all the individual tracks
again use a copy of the copy of the database before editing anything, you could screw it all up in notepad

well its just 2 buttons and a bit of text, and you probably wont ruin the database but still be careful, your renaming them all at the same time, but you can only change it up to the music folder, for mine I just changed my documents to users

O.k. so I'm workin on the database xml,i got both new and old (copied from the first Lappy) in Vdj but i add a "B" at the end of the database text title so by renaming i can switch after i rewrite the old to simulate the new.now the old was on my Dell inspirion with vista, but my new monster has XP PRO sp3 on it.....I noticed that the vista files have "users" in the path but the XP has "owner" instead...its that an oparator system difference or did someone changed that? anybody with both O.S. has noticed this?

Hey tracker,
I have never used vista, but had the same problem with win7, you can just rename the whole filepath to change from "users" to owner" just find something like "C://users/Tracker/" replace with "C://owner/Tracker/" then select replace all
