Does any one have this cdj deck? What is your opinion on the deck and do you think it would be a good combo with the rmx?

Does anyone know if this cdj (numark ndx800) is able to hook up to the RMX and work together?

Yeah it'll work with your RMX perfectly. Just be sure to follow the timecode instructions properly or it'll be a nasty sounding machine!
Happy Mixing!

Hoping that this bad boy comes in today. Didn't pay attention to the website where I ordered it from come to find out one of their warehouse's is like an hour and half away from where I live. The shitty side of this tho is a buddy loans me his CD collection of about 300 cd's that I have to upload. Along with my 300 gigs of music that I already have that I have not filtered them out yet in VDJ. This is going to be a long weekend. Oh well can't complain when it's free a lot of old R&B hip hop blues jazz and a bunch a alternative with heavy metal which I don't think I'm going to be uploading those it's even got Mc Hammer's finest album lmao cuz I will be playing that in one of my sets as a joke!!!! Will post picks of the new set up when I set up. And be asking for help on setting it up.....

Numark NDX-800 is a MIDI controller. You don't need to use timecode (Doing so will lose some of the capabilities of the controller.)
Simply plug these into your computer at the same time as the RMX and set them to PC/MIDI mode. You can use the sound card in your RMX for your sound output (The NDX-800's do not have their own sound cards.)

So when I set the configuration up how do I use the drop down box to make sure that it's hooked up right. I assuming that your telling me to use the USB coneccton to the the laptop and the RCA cable will hook up to the rmx as a seconed input?
