Ive never seen a video this good of anyone really rocking VDJ. Great use of the effects plus I love dubstep. One question I have though is, could he have used a timecode on deck 3 insetad of the real vinly??

We need more videos like this!!

Nice find

Can't wait for the MC6000 mk2 featuring the upgrades I suggested in hardware forum.

Well after some reading around I found out that you cant use timecodes with this unit unless you use another soundcard..........hmm......not what I wanted to hear but I might have to make the jump. And sense I have an NI Audio 8 I can use it for cues, etc, etc,,,,,, Wonder if a firmware update would fix that either I might have to sell a few things and get one of these.

Personally I'd wait for the next release.

Hey Charlie - why not post a link to those suggestions and the validation that there is an MK2 in the works?

And, NO; I wouldn't wait for it. I would buy one now.

Great video find Huey. I will add it to our video page in the wiki.

@Chris, was I right about the time code thing or am I way off base??

Thanks for the & info
Huey

I bought one in AC, and at home practicing on it now. I have access to all controllers, and this is the one for me. Two mics w/eq, booth out, effects buttons and knobs everywhere, four cue/sample points, and headphone jack on the left side. Looks good to me.

"Who's going to win the battle of the controllers" people keep asking; the answer nobody, but there will be winning products and this is one of them.

Cstoll,

Of courses there is an MK2 in the works, give it a year and it'll be out.

As for my suggestions, even I can't find them :(

I'll make sure the Denon Project Manager is aware of the project being in the works.

But you find those suggestions - I am sure they will need them, since they don't have them either.

It's reasonable to speculate that there will be a MK2, most popular DJ hardware have gone through at least a couple of revisions, CDJ-800/1000, Hercules DJ Controller (including the evolution of the RMX to the 4MX), VCI-300 etc.

If the current revision isn't to Charlie's satisfaction what's wrong with wishing there's a future improvement more to his tastes? I read your reply of "And, NO; I wouldn't wait for it. I would buy one now." as very hostile as it directly inferred Charlie's opinion as being wrong.

The current DN-MC6000 is a great controller, I have some issues with the Vinyl and Bend buttons requiring a couple of presses sometimes to actually send a signal but besides that I like it a lot.

OK lets all get back on track..........The whole point of this post was to show a DMC Champion rockin a VDJ certified controller with VDJ. That's always been a major gripe of people. Their always saying VDJ needs to hire some great DJ to advertise for us, well here 1 is and I don't believe we needed to even pay him and he killed it!! Weather people wanna admit VDJ is a great piece of software, which we all already know :-) I mean look he's just using the basic effects and loops and this short video sounded great!!

A proud VDJ user
