I have a question about making playlists on VDJ . Alot of time is spent creating playlist , I was just wondering if I were ever to decide to update my computer in a year or so can VDJ be moved to the new computer with my playlists intact or will I have to make new ones whenever I change computers . Also if I were to change from Windows to Mac can you also transfer files ? I am new to VDJ and love using it , the best money I have spent on my business , I just want to know if I am wasting time making playlists just to loose them later.
Thanks in advance for your help

Yes, they can be copied from your VirtualDJ home folder (My Documents\VirtualDJ\Playlists on PC) to the same location on your new computer.
However, the paths to the songs in a playlist are drive and path specific, so you will need to ensure that your music collection is copied to exactly the same location on your new computer with the same folder structure, e.g: If they are in C:\Music on your current computer, they need to be C:\Music on the new.
The same also applies to your VirtualDJ database, which is also located in My Documents\VirtualDJ and contains BPM, comments, etc. for your music.
