What version of VDJ 7 Pro are you using? As 7.0.5b is out now and works sweet as!
If it’s not a legitimate version of VDJ you can expect to have problems like this, as it has been broken to work.

I've had this issue multiple times with the VMS4 and virtual DJ 7 (Which I purchased). Mine is a midi controller thing.. I have to launch the midi controller first then virtual dj and it works. If you change the settings so you can hear virtual dj without the midi control then when you are ready to dj and you forget to set the audio setting back you get the same problem. I dont know why but i learned to live with it. This is a midi controller thing.
