I just purchased the Mixed In Key 4 and I was wondering if anyone knows how I can linked this to work with Virtual DJ Pro 7.05. Any suggestions or comments?

the only thing you could do is assign the camalot code from mixed in key to the comment field. then use phantoms db manager tool to change the comment field with the key field in vdj, if it is capable of doing that yet (I havn't tried it yet).

MIK #5 should be out soon.

Some people have it already, for testing.

MIK5 will key your MP4's as well........

This function has a bug that's fixed and will be working on the next version... Today or maybe tomorrow!

Personally I would write the key code to the comment field and be happy with that. This way you have two readings which is a good thing because even the best detection is only around 70-80% accurate, so you have a handy second opinion before previewing to confirm.

Also you have "Field 1" and "Field 2"
However there's no way to use these fields in a "batch copy" yet...

That's exactly what I do!

Looking forward to the new MIX #5...I also noticed a big difference between the BPM on VDJ and Mixed In Key, is there a reason for this?

The same reason why the key codes are different - both programs have their own detection algorithims, and because no algorithim is 100% accurate you're bound to get varying results, and you can generalise and say one program is more often "right" than another, but with tricky songs a variety of readings is helpful.
