Tópico: Where too next!?

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

Hey guys so ive been messing around with mixers for about a year and a half. started with the Hercules E2 but i quickly became bored with it. about 8months ago i picked up the Numark MIXDECK and have fell in love with it, learning something new everyday its broadened my horizon for mixing. although i have become bored of even that, i feel as if i am missing out.

Im not sure where i should move to next, i never really had anyone teach me or guide me on djing. But i feel as if im not able to grow my talent further, not sure if its because of my price range but i would like to keep it under $1,200. I was thinking about moving to the NS6 because of the ease of it also being a complete unit. i never really got into scratching but would like to give it a chance. I enjoy basic house/feel good aswell as dubstep.

Just looking for any tips or advice, i am fairly new to DJing and all the feedback is very appreciated.

Why do you feel as if the NS6 is a better fit as an all in one unit cuz if I remember correctly the Mixdeck is more of an all in one unit that the NS6 because the Mixdeck can play cd's.....but I can't comment to much on the NS6 cuz I have never owned it...I have played on one...

I have owned both the Mixdeck and I currently have an NS6, the only differences that I see to the NS6 are that its slimmer, has touch strips for searching through your music, has 4 channels, MIDI mappable mixer section and comes bundled with serato.

The platters feel the same, both units basically feel as if they came off the same assembly line sharing similar components.

It all comes down to your needs, I needed a MIDI mixer so I changed to the NS6

If I had a need for CD players I would have stuck with the mixdeck.

It sounds to me like the NS6 is the perfect choice for you. If you catch a deal online you'll be able to get an Odyssey case with it and still be within your $1200 budget.
I've been using one since they were released, the thing is amazing and can do whatever you ask of it. Time to take it to the next level, I say go for it!

I'm a Still new to djing also I started out with Hercules rmx. And thought I want getting what I was looking for so I just got the ns6 two months ago and I'm loving every min I get with it. I had the numark ndx 800's for a month which were great cdj's but couldn't get it to mapp out well with vdj. But after thinking about It I noticed that I never stuck a cd into those decks since I buy all my music is on a HD. But thats my 2 cents.
