I have my Mixtrack Pro connected to my iMac running OS X. I have my Head Phone Jack in the Mixtrack Pro. My Current Audio Preferences set to play audio from my Computer speakers. I cannot figure out how to "preview" tracks with my headphones. I do not have any eternal audio cards etc. I thought that with the PRO you can setup your master audio and then "preview" your next track using head phones. Will somebody please help me set my preferences to do this? Do I need need another audio card to preview with my headphones? Thanks.

You will need to use the sound card built into the MixTrack Pro to do this.

Thank you. I found that link helpful. It seems that I can only Preview tracks with head phones if I am running my master output through a reciever and stereo speakers. I have come to the conclusion that I cannot preview tracks with headphones if I am using the computer for my master out put. Is this correct?

Why would you want to listen via your computer when you have an external mixer and sound interface right in front of you?
The whole idea of having real hardware with audio outputs is so that you can route the audio away from the computer, to a decent sound system!
You can't see this, but I'm shrugging my shoulders here.

^^ understood, and that is the plan. However I have my MTP hooked up to my iMac temporarily until I replace my pos laptop. I am learning how to use my MTP now while its hooked up to the iMac. I have 2.1 sound system set up on the iMac. Thanks for your .02
