Tópico: VDJ pro vs. Tractor pro 2

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

Ok so I've been running the LE version of vdj 5 the one optimized for the vms4. I'm ready for an upgrade, Im in between tractor pro 2 or the most resent version of VDJ pro. I mix mostly eleto-house and Dub step sometimes pop songs and i really want a program with more FX that are customizable. So I want to know what you all think which program will work better for my style of DJing...

Traktor has much more advanced effects integration than vdj, as you can chain the effects changing the order that they affect the signal, vdj 8 is coming out soon however, and atomix would be crazy not to include this feature in the new version. but we won't know until it is released.

One benifit of vdj however is the use of external vst effects, if you upgrade to vdj it will be one time fee of $150 for unlimited updates, whereas if you get TP2 you will need to pay for updates in the future, or if you want more functions like turntables same thing, more money...

But I won't tell you to go either way, try them both see what you are comfortable with, both have different features, but hopefully the gap will be bridged on the features traktor has that vdj doesn't in the next version.. time will tell though

Upgrade pricing is subject to the actual LE being upgraded. It is not a 'flat' cost for all upgrades.

Please use the Upgrade section on our BUY page to determine your 'actual' upgrade cost.

whoops, I thought he said he had a vms4, mudt of been someone else..

Hi,

With VirtualDJ you can do more things and more way to party... If you like good effects, VirtualDJ support VST effects that are known as the best ones in the industry. with VirtualDJ Pro full you can use Vinyls, CDs, Midi controllers and rewire all together or in any combination, and almost play anything in any audio or video format.

Try what you want, but think in this... If you already have a VirtualDJ LE (vms4) you can upgrade to VirtualDJ pro full for $149 and have lifetime upgrades for free.

With VirtualDJ Pro Full you get Free lifetime updates, lifetime plugin downloads for free, midi support, timecode support, video and karaoke support as well as lifetime technical support. You can use any hardware and any combination, we don't force you to buy any hardware, you can pick what you like or need and use it with VirtualDJ. I think this is what make VirtualDJ the best choice.

My vms4 died after 2months use, i hope yours performs better for longer than mine and many others did.

I used it with Traktor, Traktor2, VDJ Pro and loved it with each.

VDJ Pro is easily customizable for mapping controls for your controller. I found Traktor hard, REALLY hard to map along with LED output signals.

To be honest for the music you're doing - either will suffice but VDJ will also offer video capability.

Just to add to my last message. I couldn't decide between them both so bought both.

Traktor has 50% off right now so it's a good time to buy, and get VDJ too.

Traktor deal was over lastnight at midnight.........slow down big shooter.
