Tópico: Buying a new controller..which one?

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

I've been a long time Numark user,,, everything from the NS7, Mixdeck, Mixtrack Pro... I'm looking to get a new controller that can handle 4 decks... Any recommendations? Looking at the NS6 and Denon MC6000... thoughts on either?

I can't recomend a controller but Namm 2012 starts january 19th ... I think a 4 jog wheel controller & more independent all in one. No pc required decks will emerge as it's logical & overdue. Then the cycle continues...

I still hear outstanding things about the Mixtrack and Mixtrack Pro from Numark on the low end of things and on the medium end of

things, guys still rave about the Denon Mc6000...As far as "high end," I wouldn't know (too poor)...lololol...I think it all depends on what

you are looking to do with VDJ...Audio only, or videos too? Scratching, or basic mixing? A hobbyist or a DJ doing paid gigs?.....I'm perfectly

happy with my old RMX, but that is only because I do basic mixing, (no scratching or video) and I only DJ for fun. Obviously a gigging Dj might

need a beefier setup with more options, but again it all depends on what works for YOU!....Good luck and let us know how your search

goes.... =D

MC-6000 is really a 2 deck controller (it only has 2 cards) so if you were using it for 4 deck it would use VDJ to do all the audio mixing.

I only use my one in 2 deck external mode which is better for me but it is an outstanding piece of kit.

The sound output is good on the mc6000?

In a word, fantastic. I use it in a club with a very good system and the sound output is very loud and clear.

If you want to mix very confortable, Get the NS6 deck. Its very good and works great with 4 decks. If you want very portable. Get the Denon 6000 deck. The denon deck is really small and some people find it uncomfortable to mix on. The Mix track pro is a very cheap deck that will do the job but after a short while, Your going to want something else. The cue and load are next to each other and you will trigger the wrong buttons by accident. The cue points are at the top. The scroll button jumps from browsing the folders to the main screen and then you have to click another button to go back. The headphone volume is really low also.

best if you can drop-by to the nearest dj store in your place and try the fell of these lovely controllers.

i highly recommend the NS6 if you love to scratch.
