Tópico: Question about video output

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

Hi there,

I didn't see the answer to my question in the manual thought I'd post it here.

When using videos in the mixer how does the output to a digital projector or flat panel TV work? Do I simply connect my laptop as normal to the projector?

Will the projector go on standby when the next track in Virtual DJ is a music track and not a video track?

How does that all work?

Thanks!

Just connect to projector as you normally do, use sonique, clipbank or one of the other options in config > video tab.

Sonique has to be installed as a plugin, but it's only available from this site when you become a paid registered user.

You can do some cool stuff to output to screens from VDJ.... enjoy.

Once your tv or projector is hooked up via either HDMI or VGA, click on the Config tab on your VDJ skin, go to Video and hit activate. To achieve full screen, click on the "tv output" window, select your card or device and then hit activate..... thats all there is to it!

Make sure you have your laptop/PC set to "extended desktop" that way VDJ will be visible on your primary screen and you can set the video output to your secondary screen from the Config->Video tab. That way it will always be full screen.

Roy

Many thanks!

How much does the upgrade to Pro Full cost from the HE edition that I have from my Pioneer DDJ Ergo?

Register your LE serial number against your profile. Then click buy from the menus and you will get your upgrade price.

Once purchased your Pro version and Pro serial number will be listed along with your Ergo download and serial number.

Plus, as soon and version 8 is released, that too will be available from your download area. FREE upgrade ;-)

Cheers,

Roy

Thanks for all the info.

I'm currently deployed to the middle east (army) but am having my DDJ Ergo shipped out here so I can get a little practice time on it.

A few DJ shows planned for when I return to the states!

Looking forward to Virtual DJ being a big part of my set up.
