Hi Guys,
I am trying my hands on Djin from a laptop for the first time and i am finding it extremely difficult to Configure the settings (Wire connection are sorted).
What I have?
A Sony Waio with 4Gb Ram and 160GB hdd space available running on windows 7 64bit
Virtual Dj Pro 7.0
M-Audio Fast Track Pro
Connected to Pioneer Cdj-800
What I have done..
1. Installed drivers from cd of M-audio
2. Connected M-audio via USB
3. RCA wires 2:2 connected to the mixers
4. Selected following settings
input: none
output: external mixer
sound card: Asio Driver (M-audio USB as primary Sound driver)
I found massive audio distortion. Could barely hear the song via headphone..Was my first attempt to set things right..was a major dissapointment..I am pretty certain connecting and wiring was not the problem.
Something in the configuration i need to fix..either i need updating drivers or need some additional plugin which may support the mixer..I read some maany threads related its not even funny and got even more confused.
PS: i am not a professional DJ therefore dont have a dj set up at home..
Any suggestions as to why the Distortion was and how can i rectify it and play it comfortably on the mixer.?
