from a conntroller point of view they have the MC-3000 and MC-6000 which covers all bases.

No they don't cover all bases. For starters the MC-6000 is not a true 4 deck controller (which is how they market it). It's only capable of TWO stereo audio channels from the computer, which in my book means it's a two deck controller.

If it had four channels a la VMS4, then I would have bought one in a heartbeat.

I would rather they concentrated on a small portfolio rather than the likes of Numark who release hundreds of similar type controllers every other day.

You don't think choice is a good thing?

Every DJ has their own personal preferences as to what features they want/need/like. Why should we be restricted?

I think Behringer have the right idea with this forthcoming modular range. Steinberg did a similar thing recently for users of their software.

You took my "epic fail" comment out of context though. I said it based on the fact that we already know they have new products. We've seen them. At least one of them exists physically, as the 'leaked' video has shown.

There's no point in them keeping the stable door closed once the horse has bolted.

Wish I was going, but for anyone who does go can you please head over to the Gemini booth and check out the CDMP-7000, please. Can you also tell them they need to make the mixer section MIDI.

Have fun and take plenty of pics
Huey

@SoundInsurgent, here you go buddy they just posted this on djtechtools with an overview video.
Heres the link:

Hmmm at 0:25 or around there they say the mixer section is MIDI, that is great frickin news. Anybody that is at NAMM can you please confirm this.

Thanks for the time and info
Huey

Personally, I'd like to see bigger jog wheels on the controller AND that they spin like the DN-S5000 I'm replacing.

not excited

Thanks for that nice stuff to choose from...
