Hi guys,
Got A Pioneer DJJERGO controller for christmas which came with Virtual DJ LE. When I used it i noticed the sound was glitchy (bass would drop in and out, audio would speed up and slow down and to the trained DJ ear was just wrong). I noticed that this was the case regardless of whether the controller was on or off.
As I could not change the settings I decided to spend the money and upgrade to VDJP 7.05. Same problem, with or without controller all my tracks play in this glitchy way.
Reverted back to Virtual DJ Home (the free version I originally downloaded 3 months ago), I can't use my controller, however the sound quality is perfect, no glitches.
WHYYY! So frustrating, although I'm awesome at djing with a mouse, I have a controller and a brand new program which are not working properly
I've read up on latency, performance issue forums, but I cannot understand why the free version would have no issues and the pro version would...
Anyone? Help would be much appreciated. I am running OS X LION 4GB RAM 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. This shouldn't matter because one of my programs is totally fine!

After reviewing every single preference I have noted that on my free version (the working version) under browser tab it lists 'root' as my drive and shows 5000 odd files. For My full version, it has nothing under drive, says 26 files, and there it does not allow me to change this.
Could this be the reason? and if so, why does it not come up with the drive and files like my other version?

Do you have the latest drivers and firmware installed from Pioneer? A link to Pioneer's driver download page can be found on the following page:
http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Common%20Device%20Drivers.html
Please also check that the DJ-ERGO is configured correctly:

Regarding the files, make sure you don't have Home FREE and Pro open at the same time, otherwise the second version that you open won't be able to read the database. Also, make sure that you have added your music to your VirtualDJ database: http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Add%20to%20search%20DB.html
