Hi All,
i have been a mobile DJ for 18 years however tomorrow night will be the first time i have ever done a disco for just 20 people! I was wondering if any of you have got any serious constructive advice on how to play the night.

first thing i would do is ask client to send you a playlist of songs for each of the staff.(know the crowd before you meet lol)
secondly have a spare wireless mic and get them singing their songs (make time go by quickly)
thirdly and most important dont stress before the gig and remember its their party so throw out a request a song section every half hour then your always playing or doing something to keep them happy

Interact as much as you can. If they see you as friendly they'll interact with your music more.
I had one of those about 5 years ago and I just took my remote tablet and went round the tables getting requests and playing from the crowd. Worked a treat and it was a great atmosphere even with the small amount of people.
