Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

guys dont use them so much due to fire alarms ect but when i do use it there is a lot of residual fog around the floor /stage ect,
is there a way to stop this as sometimes it is very slippy and dont want someone to fall or for it even to leak through my equipment.
any help appriciated

Are you still using oil-based smogfluid? My fogger is on water-based fluid and leaves no residue whatsoever. It also leaves the fire-detectors at ease ;)

ill check martin and get back to you here.
not much experience so im learning as i go with the haser as i changed from smoke machines fir this reason and started to think it was natural

And so you've answered my second option... ;)
If the fogger / hazer is older, residue on the heater can cause a spill of unburned fluid through the nozzle. But it seems yours is new, so that won't be the case.

It would have to be an old Martin machine to be oil based as they've not made them for years.

What model is it?

all the new water based machines will spit hot liquid out or even dribble if theyre "TILTED".
im my experience they should be positioned as near to horizontal as possible.

two big honkin' hazers on each end of the truss and if i leave them on for more than a minute it looks like a snoop dogg concert with willie nelson opening, but we've had no problems with fire alarms or drips - and if they're older model foggers that you have just put a small drip catch under the nozzle. problem solved?

clean it? I also made a cold chest fog dragger... it keep fog lasting for ever..

ok guys it is a qtx fog/hazer machine.i had it working again saturday night and had it level no spillages when filling up ect and still leaves a residue.
can even fell the residue on my cables when stripping down equipment.
i will try get new hazer fluid soon.
and guys it is very new machine only used it a handfull of times

with a hazer there shouldn't be any residue at all - with a fogger there is. and the fluids are not interchangeable. which exact model are you using and how is it being used? video or pictures would help i think. i know ours had to be hung a specific way on the truss so that they were level and so the haze had time to disperse.

my gear is in lock up wild but i will check saturday.i put mine on the floor underneath my lasers/lights

I have a QTX hazer and it uses water based solution.
