Tópico: anyone use broadwave audio streaming to broadcast from VDJ??

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

hi guys, im in need of some help regarding broadcasting from vdj.

i was previously using listen2, but the instability and the whole having to use a listen2 address put me off.

after searching for another free service that i can use i came across NCH broadwave and am pretty happy with the system. my only issue is i cant seem to work out how to incorporate it for use with VDJ.

if anyone can help, id be very appreciative.

I have used ustream before. it works and its free. but I'll check out the broadwave site to see if I can help you. I'm thinking its going to be more to do with your recording settings.

thanks for the reply man, however ive worked it out... broadwave has an option that supports listening to the audio output as long as your soundcard supports stereo mix functionality.

you set the broadwave to listen to the stereo mix channel and it broadcasts "everything" that is sent to your output, plus anything that is fed into your mic/line in.

its such a good option in fact, you can broadcast literally any audio that is played on your machine. up to and including skype conversations, system sounds none rewire software's etc... you can for example, use the drum pad on reason and the synth on Fruity for fx etc while your mixing on vdj, multi monitor setups are a whole new level for broadcasting when your using broadwave. several software's up at once on multi monitor and they all broadcast...
