ok here's the deal...
When I use broadcast function, I have a cable from a rec out on my mixer to ext. soundcard line in.
Works fine with mp3, karaoke ect.
When I slam a video (mpg/mp4) on one of my decks, and DON'T press play, there is this static noise in the broadcast feed.
When I then press play, nothing happens... static noise is still there, it runs, but no sound is broadcasted ??
There is signal in the mixer from vdj, and there is signal from the rec out port.
Can vdj not broadcast video ?

simple answer, no, vdi doesnt broadcast video. but you may be able to do a work around using the routing for your video output from vdj to a third party video broadcasting software. NCH do a video broadcasting software and also you could maybe use telestream. both i believe support video routing ..
