you could probably do the same thing with an xbox kinnect or wimote, a projector and a peice of gass, you should see if anyone has made them diy yet.... the hardest thing to emulate though would be the software.. but I think they are too imprecise to be really useful for a performance, bjork uses one in her live show but hey bjork prides herself on being arty and different..

I'd put an axe through it if I won the lottery, what a load of crap. Wouldn't be fun at all.
