Tópico: My crossfader isint fading...

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

So my issue is that I finally was able to re-set-up my Numark Mixtrack pro with VDJ 7 (dusted it off after a few years in innactivity). Now when I set it up, its giving me issues since whenever I have a song on "cue" it will ONLY play that (both through my speakers, and my headphones) song even if I hit "play" on another song and move the cross fader to the middle I will still ONLY hear the song that is "cue". How do I make it so that the other song is playing on my headphones together, and that when I move the cross fader to the middle it'll mix the two?

Also, how am I able to turn down the volume on my headphones? It seems as though I'll end up breaking them since they are soooooooooo loud.

I took a look at the link you send, and unfortunately I cannot find a response to my question :( A lot of the issues seemed to be improper/out-dated machines. I am running VDJ 7 on a second generation i7 processor with 16gb of ram, and a 3gb dedicated gfx card.

I suggest downloading a skin that has those controls available to you.

What controls? This is the most basic function I thought... I set up my sound the same way that it was recommended, but my issue is that what I have playing out of my speakers is still the same thing that is in my headphones :(

From your description in the first post I think you've got the Master-signal send to your headphones and the Cue-signal to the speakers. As you described: You only hear the song that is in Cue (and that's something you want to happen in your headphones) and the crossfader is not responding (and that's something that PFL does not respond to).
You can try if this is the case with your channel faders: If you can control the headphones volume with them, your current setup is not correct.
So make sure you've got Master Out send to channel 1 and 2 and your headphones to 3 and 4.

@James: 0Ciju0 is a NLU so he's not able to DL a desired skin.

Alright so my set-up is:

Inputs: None
Outputs: Headphones (Master: Chan 1&2/Headphones: Chan 3&4
Sound card: Numark

And I'm still having the same issues... Also, as far as I am concerned there is no way through any of the dials to change the volume on my headphones. =/

EDIT: The volume knob dosen't seem to work either (aka "gain A"). When I move it on my controller, I see it moving in VDJ as well, but makes no difference

As stated above, make sure your speakers are connected to Output 1 (The farthes RCA's from the USB on the Mixtrack)
Check your cue mix knob, right above your browse knob, make sure it is in the que position.

Ahh! I'm sorry! You were totally right, it was actually set up to audio 2 (I figured originally that it was 1 I guess). Thanks for the help guys, but I've got a quick question as well. What exactly does the "cue mix" and "cue gain" do? Also, how am I able to change the volume of my headphones?

EDIT: Gahhhh, I restarted my computer, and now theres no sound from anything... Why is this sooooooo difficult :(

EDIT 2: Figured that out, apparently I was supposed to just re plug my USB, lol
