Hi, I'm at my wits end, I have been using VirtualDJ with the same set up for 5years or more with no problem but I had to replace my laptop from a 32bit to 64bit machine. I'm using a creative 24bit external sound card and although I'm setting everything up as I always did it plays everything throg the right channel and nothing through the left. I'm not sur if the fault is with Virtualdj or some etting in my laptop. One thing I am sure of is the sound card and mixer is working properly as I checked them with orther sources. Any help would be gratefully appreciated, I've spent two days fluffing around re-installing drivers and virtualdj etc. but to no avail. Gary Cee

Most likely this is due to your sound settings being incorrect, e.g: You have selected the mono y-cable splitter option.
Please post details of your exact sound setup and what sound card(s) you are using (Make and model numbers.)

The sound card is a creative audigy Soundblaster 2nx 24bit external. I've messed around with all the sound settings trying to get it to work, it always used to work with the settings external mixer, 4.1 card, with deck 1 front, deck 2 rear, but i've tried the advanced settings as well but it always yeilds the same result. I've updated the drivers to no avail and I've got two soundblasters and i've tried both of them with the same result. My mixer is a Numark 200fx, I've tried other devices through it and it seems to to be functioning properly. I'm really out of ideas.
