Hello, I am in the market to buy a powered sub and I seen a Berhinger 1000w powered sub for $599. I don't have much knowledge on their products or their quality so i wanted to see if i can get any feedback from the forum before I purchase. I did demo them and the sound quality is ok but not sure about the reliability.

If you want to spend 599 on a sub, Buy the Harbinger HP 118s instead. Its really good for the price and it kicks.

Berhinger Audio equipment is very good:
Concert mixers, Power amps, effects racks, crossovers. (Personal Experience)
Some people have complained about reliability, I often wonder how they are treating thy're gear.
Berhinger powered speakers:
Not nearly as good.
They have traditionally had Issues with power supplies, and capacitors failing, and destroying the Circuit boards (both personal & Anecdotal Experience)
Berhinger DJ mixers:
Very Very poor quality. (personal experience)
If you want to use Behringer gear, I would go passive powered and use the iNuke line of Amps.
I use an iNuke nu3000 in one of my systems and it's very clean and very loud.
