Can anyone tell me where I can preview samples & effects before I buy them? Thanks in advance!

You don't purchase samples or effects from our site - they are all free to licensed users.
 
I know that but I can't preview all of them + there's a lot of samples and effects that I hear other DJs using that are not available in VDJ,If I could get everything I need from VDJ I would.
 
Samples are just audio files, it's easy enough to make your own or use any that are available.

As for effects, we have a massive selection available and coupled with VST support I'd say probably more than pretty much any other DJ app.
 
I guess I'll have to keep downloading them until I find what I need :-/
 
You can search them to narrow down what you're looking for...
 
what do you need? there are only a couple of different types of effects, the rest is sound quality and combinations to make new sounding effects.
 
I'm looking for an effect or sample that makes kind of like a hydraulic pump sound when it releases pressure,I'm not sure if you can relate but as always my way of explaining things is not the best :-/
 
You mean white noise?

There are plenty of sound effect sites which allow you to listen to the sounds....
 
groovingdj,I don't now what the name is,I downloaded white noise from VDJ and whenever I try to use it it doesn't make any sound. Can you tell me the name of some of those websites?
 
I like tex_zk's "noisebell" for adding whitenoise... it has a nice little bit of resonance and an echo trail that can be set at 1/2 or 1 beat... slider 2 is the one that makes the sound, slider 1 is volume.

Deun deun's, whitenoise v.3 sounds great especially with the sidechain, but lacks an echo.
