Hi all
Recently been getting a problem with the waveform / BPM where when I load a song to the deck VDJ analyses the song by going through the waveform on the deck but then the waveform fills the box and causes the song to be played very loud.
I can correct this by telling VDJ to reanalyse the song and reload it to the deck where the waveform then displays the song as it should do with all the ups and down.
I'm just wondering if anyone knows why my system has started doing this.
I have read about and seen that if the song has been scanned for BPM by another programme it can do this, but it is happening on old songs that I have played hundreds of times before then all of a sudden it goes back to a full wave bar. Also have no other software installed on my gig pc so can't see why this is happening.
Thanks in advance
Nick

If the song overview waveform isn't shown in full then this means that the song is longer than your max load setting (Or VirtualDJ initially thinks it is due to it being a variable bitrate file) - Please see http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/MaxLoad.html
If it's a song that you haven't played before or analysed in full, then this can also result in the gain not being set correctly (Due to it not yet knowing the optimal value.) To avoid this, pre-analysing your music collection is strongly recommended: http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Pre-Analysing%20Your%20Music%20Collection.html
