I've just purchased a Pioneer Ddj ergo. I am very pleased with the way the controller performs, I am just wondering if anyone has one, and has upgraded from LE, and is it worth doing

Yes i had one and the upgrade is definately worth it just to have future free updates for VDJ. You'll love the ERGO by the way. I felt it had unbelievable sound quality and features compared to controllers double in price.

Just get a good decent back for it. I bought the Gator 25 bag that was about £120 to carry it around in.

Cheers fellas, might invest in the upgrade

I upgraded to Pro just for the better sound quality !

As far as I'm aware there is no difference in the sound engines in the different versions of VDJ.......can't see Why they would change it anyways .

I could not tweak my ASIO drivers and settings with the LE version...

With the LE version I used to have lags sometimes. With Hercules Console MKII, Hercules RMX and with the DDJ Ergo.
After changing the ASIO settings, my volume goes louder and the sound quality has improved a lot.

A user upgrading from an older version such as VirtualDJ LE v6 would notice a difference because there have been improvements made to the sound engine with each major release.

Also, as above, in the full Pro you have the ability to customise your settings and also the ability to use advanced master tempo.

I too have the ergo, and agree about the protection, however you can get the gator Pedal bag, which is an exact for it, for only £22, add the that a decksaver (A Must for any padded back protection) and you can heavily protect your investment for around £50

both of those accessories available on a very popular online auction site :-)
