Hi there guys, long time reader first time poster.
Okay so I've been using the free version for about 6 months now and i recently purchased the Numark DJ2GO to take what has become abit of a passion to the next step. Little did i no that i would then have Virtual DJ LE Lite(DJ2GO) software and the skin it gives you, which in my opinion is frankly awful. So im stuck at a crossroads, do i go back to the free version, stick it out with LE Lite or what im asking you guys to help me is with move up again to Broadcaster or above? Is it value for money? Will skins which i have downloaded for the free version work on broadcaster or will the new toys i get mess these skins up?

If you wish to use the DJ2Go, then you will either need to use the free limited version (LE) of VirtualDJ that comes with it, or upgrade to the full VirtualDJ Professional.

VirtualDJ Home FREE, Broadcaster and Basic do not support using MIDI controllers - Please see comparison.

There are no legitimate skins for VirtualDJ Home FREE that can be downloaded. These are reserved for registered licensed users only (You should be a LE user once you register your VirtualDJ Lite for DJ2Go.) Skins downloaded from illegal sources may not work correctly.

However, in answer to your question, skins that work in Home FREE will work in Broadcaster/Basic/Pro. VirtualDJ LE/Lite doesn't support using custom skins.
 
Look, if you want to go to the next level, it's Pro. Stop fooling around in the kiddie pool, and jump into the deep in. You don't have to worry about what works with what, because everything works with Pro, and updates are free. You can't have it both ways. You want to go to the next level, but are half stepping with the investment. Cut out a few beers and shots, skip Wendy's a few days a week, and it will pay for itself.
 


....VDJ or the Baconator....hmmmmm.....Six strips of hickory smoked bacon vs. lifetime updates and access to all d. loads.....tough choice indeed.....All kidding aside though, the Man with the Music was right, jump in. It is a bit of $$, but with the big discount you have with the LE version, it is a no-brainer....Go for it! =D
 
Ummm it only costs $329... I spent more than that on XLR cable this month.
 
its worth it... and its not that expensive, 3 hungi is nothing. it pays for its self just after 1 gig.

Hey guys I just upgraded from limited edition to pro today. I too am a long time reader & first time poster. Been awhile since I've used virtual dj.
 
Even if i'm always in a fight With Moderator, Mate I can tell you this.

This software worth it.
