I know, it's a "noob" question, but cut me some slack. Downloaded the free version of VirtualDJ, played around with it and now would like to record a mix.......unfortunately, I can't cue my next track? I am wondering if I don't have a sound setting set up correctly, or if this is a way Virtual DJ pretty much insures that you don't make any money off their product unless you REALLY work at it. If it is a setting, can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? And if it is a free versus paid version issue, what is the least expensive version I can get that would at least allow me to record a mix live to see if this really works as well as I think it does? Thanks in advance.

The home version (free version) will allow you to cue into headphones if the sound setup is correct.
The users manual will show you how to change the audio setup in config.
What kind of sound card output do you have. Is it a 4 channel sound card?

It must be, I guess my computer just defaulted to a weird setting where it didn't even have an L or R? Went in and played around a little bit with the speaker settings, then set the VDJ to 4 Channel and bam, I can cue! Love the recording feature, so much easier than running the old idj2 (coughPOScough) through Magix and having to mixdown and all that crap. Anyways, I'm babbling, thank you for taking the time to respond.
