Does look cool indeed because they even mention it for use with Virtual DJ use. ;)
Just wondering what the official word is on this from AUTOMIX INC.?
Thanks,

Not sure about this. All i can see this doing is artificially adding CPU load and and extra latency through an extra stage in the audio path.
Also, I can't see how this would work at all with an ASIO interface as the whole point of ASIO is to bypass the OS and interface with the hardware directly.

Adding CPU load.
Good point.
With my M.S. and a few issues recently with it that one slipped the mind. ;
DJ to the END. :)
Thanks!

I used to use this application about 10 years ago. VDJ pretty much does everything with all the plugins. I don't see a need for a background software like that.

I used to use DFX for general playback up until a couple of years ago. It really did enhance playback sound by using some clever mastering techniques.
Also, it typically added around 0.5 secs delay to any music playback, which means it would be virtually impossible to use properly with a real time application like Virtual DJ.
But that *was* few years ago, and things may have improved since then.
It has a free version (with limited options) available to download. Why not give it a try and share your findings?

From my personal experience I have found this product to almost be a scam.....The d. load is free, but then to open up features, it costs $$....They use the same product as an add-on for Win. M.P. and it even sucked at that. I consider it bloatware and completely designed for the home market. Not a professional tool at all imo....btw, after a download "trial" of this app. I was left with all kinds of nice adware/malware on my machine that took a going through of the registry to remedy.....I would stay away.....But that is just MY experience...
