Hi, I'm seriously baffled here, while doing a gig on friday a nightmare happened. My NS6 deck A pitch/tempo began to run real slow like I had set the pitch at -100%? it just happened after loading a video track about a half hour into the gig? I tried reloading the track same thing slow pitch? Tried another track, same thing slow pitch? Tried readjusting the pitch % adjustments slow pitch? Rebooted laptop & NS6, same thing slow pitch?? Swapped out laptop to backup laptop, same thing slow pitch on deck A only??? luckily I had my backup controller, swapped that & all was good.
I'm wondering if its a hardware issue=NS6 or a software issue?? This was the first time I had took the NS6 & my new Asus G71GX laptop to the club and I had to end up using my usual setup. I am running video with W7 32bit with 10gigs RAM , I believe W7 only sees 2.75gb RAM. I had thoroughly tested the NS6 letting it automix for 8hrs on a couple of occasions during the week with no problems. I was so frustrated I setup the NS6 & Asus when I got home & retested it again yesterday & the slow pitch issue vanished???? I am leary to bring the NS6 to the club now! Any suggestions or fixes would be greatly appreciated. Just for trouble shooting sake I reinstalled the NS6 drivers yesterday it seems to be workin fine now but I cant have it actin up live! Also now that I think about it the NS6 may have done this b4 on a couple of times but it quickly went away after i reloaded the track?

I have had similar problems with my NS6, except I've experienced accelerated speed. To resolve this I usually hold down the + / - pitch bend button and it sorts the playing out. Could be worth giving it a shot?
I'm guessing something is going wrong between VDJ and the Midi signal from the NS6, and it's needing correction.
I hope that button solves your problem, if not it may be worth trying to replicate the problem so you can tell us what specifically causes the slow playback.
