During the setup of my Xone:K2 I've encountered several problems.
Most of them had easy fixes, and most of the fixes are easy to find (in the wiki or through google).
This problem however, was not.
The problem: Turning a led on sends a midi-note to the piano-synthesizer.
In a post on the VDJ forums something was said about a soundcard synthesizing the sound, and that the cause is improper device recognition.
After testing several soundcards and configuration tweaks, I concluded that this was not the problem.
The solution:
Set a 'value="<value>"'parameter, even if it is not required. If you don't, it might activate the piano synthesizer. Perhaps not on your own setup but to someone who you share your configuration-files with.
Edit: Common Values should be '1' or '7F'. Use 'Midi Trace' to find out if you are unsure.
