Tópico: Sampler won't work right

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

When I click, "tap", or "fine pitch", to start recording the point I want to start the loop/sample, it won't work. It always ends up recording 2-3 seconds after I click the tap button (which tells it to start recording). I have the light edition with a numark total control, and I've went through all the preferences and such. Thanks!

bump please

With the little information you've provided, my guess would be that this is probably caused by latency i.e. a delay in you hearing the sound, which is caused by using a domestic/consumer sound card rather than a professional ASIO based card.

You've not mentioned your sound setup but if you're running the audio from VDJ through your built in laptop or desktop computer sound card then the above will likely apply.

Thank makes sense! Thank you sir. I do have the basic numark sound card. Now I'm having a problem where my jog wheels are only slowing/speeding up the track, rather than cutting it out completely. Any help on why this may be happening?

Lastly, I'm looking for a new controller. I want to become a registered user on here, however I'm trying to find a controller, over paying $300 for the full VDJ software. On that note, can anyone recommend me to a controller that can control four tracks, and scratch. I'm simply trying to upgrade to this and not much more. My price for a controller to control four tracks and scratch would be preferably be in the range of under $400-$450.

Thank you!

You do realise that if you have a LE version that came with your controller, you should get a discount when upgrading to the full Pro version - if you register your LE serial number, then enter the number into the upgrade box, the price will be displayed.

Yeah I know. But I bought the controller and such from a friend and he didn't have the serial number. I have the original box, but no serial number. I need to upgrade my controller anyways, any suggestions?

If he's registered it himself then you shouldn't be using it - the licenses are not transferrable.

If he didn't, then you should have the serial number.

He probably did register it. Although I'm fine with the light edition. I don't need a better version until I get a better controller. Why do so many people dislike the VMS4 that you have? What software comes with it?? Thanks!
