Hello there me and my friend are looking at buying the pro edition, is it allowed to split the cost and use the same serial number? Or is this not allowed? thanks for the feedback.

No, this is strictly prohibited. Serial numbers cannot be shared between multiple DJ's. Doing so is a violation of the End User License Agreement (EULA). Each DJ will need to purchase their own license.

NOTE: Because you already have VirtualDJ LE, you can upgrade at a discount to the full Pro. Your friends will need to purchase the software in full unless they also own controllers that came with VirtualDJ LE.
