I changed out the spandex stretch material for the these light fixture lens that are used in most offices.Flexible and disperses light well.

Here you go...

Gotta be careful with those as they break easily, especially as they get older. Love it though!!

I believe your right on that! my thoughts exactly...but what the heck. It works well.
Thankyou for correcting the embedding issue Tayla

Looks good, just carry 2 spares. A plus; you can clean on the spot. Con; can't hide the mess.

niceeee :) welcome to the club lolz

Looks pretty cool! Where did you get the lens from?

You can get them at your local Homedepot or Lowes home improvement stores. They are 2'x4' sheets at $7.00 ea.
Used liquid nails all around the edges to hold it to the frames.I didnt want to drill or screw anything to them fearing it might crack if they were to be pushed over excessively.

Did you use ADJ jellyfish for the light effects..?

As for the lights ..yes 2 ADJ Jellyfish just on auto mode for the video clip.I also tried the Chauvet led strips just for slow color transitions and that looked real good also. You really cant see through them with a low light enviroment. That video clip I had an overhead flourescent lamp right above it so it illuminated the the background behind the panels and yes you can see some items somewhat but not clearly.
Thes sheets have a bumpy texture to them that dosent allow a clear view through them.
