Hey everyone.
It has been such a long time since i got back into DJing and ive really missed it although when i used to mix it was using the vinyl not the new controllers. I love working with the vinyl and using the larger size tables but im not sure if its the best decision to choose since there are no as many records out now. So i have a question which no one seems to be addressing precisily.
Is it possible to use a vinyl dj turntable as a controller, eg. hooking up two ttxusb's to your computer and using them to mix tracks on virtual dj. Is it possible for this to be done. or is it possible to use a vinyl turntable and connect it to the mixer and will it then work off virtual DJ?
Not only is it more fun to be able to mix some old vynal into your mixes but also it looks so amazing when a dj pulls out two vinyl turntables and a mixer and keeps up todate with the tracks that are playing in the clubs.
I know its a fiddly question but i really hope that i could get some good advice
Cheers
Jade H
P.S. - The title is ment to be Vinyl haha

Hey Maki2001, what is the box thing inbetween the computer and the mixer? is it just the back of the mixer or is another piece??
Cheers Jade

It's a soundcard. Which you'll need unless your mixer has one built-in. Check the FAQ pages that support gave you, they'll tell you everything you need to know.

So i probably sound like a bit of a broken record here but i dont want to spend a lot of money on a system that i cant get to work, what is the Scratch line then?

Well if you don't wanna spend a lot of money Scratch Live is gonna cost you around 650/700 bucks!!
If you already have tables order yourself a Hercules DJ Trim , then use the serial number to get a discount on VDJ Pro.
