I have recently purchased a vestax vci 380 and hooked it up to my dell xps l502x i5 4gb ram laptop running vdj pro 7.3 version and its natively supported which was geat until i started to use the effects, i would for example have say an effect on each deck and then a combination of effects and then maybe chuck in a filter then all of sudden vdj closes and back to my desktop which is kind of worrying.
The effects i have been using are flanger, flan jet, echo, reverb, beatgrid, brake, laser ray, flippin double, phaser now i have manged to repeat this sudden crash 3 times and its always when using multiple effects, never freezes always closes and back to desktop?
Any help would be great thanks

Tell me which three effects, and I will try right now. I'm live in a club, but I have back up. Plus, I have really big ones. I also don't think I will crash. I will let you know, right away.

Sorry, I could not find three effects that would sound good at the same time, only two. I did however try 5 on my backup machine with no problems.
Ok, tried Echo, Flanger, and Flanjet, no problems, on gig machine.

could be any number of things....
your system might need some clean up or optimization.....
try ctrl/shift/esc......how many processes ??
how full is the C: ??
when was the last defrag ?
do you use Aero ?
in control panel what are your power options set to??
try removing the battery ....
