I am running Windows 7 using the virtual dj 7 (I actually have the paid version) and I am having problems syncing virtual dj to my xdj aero.. It plays fine just that my cross fader is not moving on my software as well as the other knobs... any help please!!!! Thank you

Go to Device Manager - Advanced Settings, and turn off the USB Port Sleep mode on your laptop and restart, Then change the mixer mode from XDJ Aero to Pc, and Finally reset the Virtual DJ Mappers to default, If you still have Latency issues after this check the Pc cable for any damage or breaks, or try another cable.

Just to explain this - the software controls are not supposed to move.
As mentioned in the other post (and the manual) there are two operating modes. The Aero can operate as a real mixer (Aero mode) and as a controlller (PC mode).
In "real mixer" mode, there is no need for the software mixer, because you're using a real one. Hence the software "pretend mixer" does nothing.
In PC mode, your nice new expensive real mixer is only being used as a USB MIDI controller, a "remote control" if you like, to control the "pretend mixer" on screen.
