Can i use external soundcards with Virtual Dj Basic?
Example:
I have a Numark dj io (external soundcard with asio drivers), a analog mixer and a laptop with Virtual dj Basic installed. Does this work or are the external soundcards also seen as MIDI?

If you have a legal version you should register you're serial number so you won't lose it and be able to download the latest version.

Basic version ( http://www.virtualdj.com/products/basic.html ) supports USB multi-channel Sound Cards, so your Numark DJio will work fine with your analogue mixer.

I was looking for a very mobile setup with the proper software. This seems to fit perfect :)
