I thought it would be easier to make a video explaining my problem then to type it all down and have there still be confusion. Link is below

Not sure why it doesn't show up in the first menu but you should use the line in on your mixer and then you should be fine.

Good morning Mates,
I have been having that same exact issue since V3.4, which actually lead me on exploring other options. Traktor is the closest alternative that got me expressing myself like I use to with VDJ. But every time there is an update I would be rushing trying to see if issue is resolved. In my case it could be running fine for a good hour or two and then blaaaaa. Or it would start acting up from the moment I press play. Therefore there is not really a pattern that I can observe and pin point on something. The other day I decided to give it a try on my 4 maybe 5 years old HP laptop which I just reformatted. Till this day no issue at all. No cracks/ distortion ect…Things running smooth. My set up (2)1200s/DJM T1/Traktor TCV. I got so excited that last weekend I decided to load VDJ to my new Lenovo laptop, using the same exact setting as the HP machine. And believe me guys the devil is back. I am so pissed and discontent now… I had all kind of dreams, mapping my T1/getting into Video Mixing/catching up with VDJ ect…. My last Hope is on VDJ V8.

I have been having the same exact issue he is describing on his youtube Video for years. I have tried all computer and software tweek I could find. Now It's working fine on 1 machine (surprisingly an old one) and as soon as I loaded VDJ on the fairly new machine hell broke loose again.
will try upload a youtube Video later on after work.

Alright Guys, sorry for the late reply. Was a little busy all week and did not have time to really hit the decks. Well this weekend I did record the behavior with my Iphone and right before I post it I decided gave it a try again and went thru the whole thing just to make sure the problem was not on my end. As a matter of fact it was. On the DJM T1 utility setting I forgot to change the mixer output in the new computer as I did on the old one. I soon as I switch it from CD to Phono everything went fine. I played for a good two hours with not problem. Maybe Coollarkin should check the setting on his Soundcard. Now I will beat the hell out of that DJMT1 with VDJ it and try mapping that baby before deciding to give it a try at my next gig. I have a weeding coming up and it would be nice if I could include some Videos.
